Joint universality for sums and products of Dirichlet L-functions

We study analytic properties of certain sums and products of Dirichlet L-functions. We prove joint universality for Hurwitz zeta-functions with rational parameters, for Dedekind zeta-functions to Abelian number fields, and for the elements of the extended Selberg class of degree one, all subject to certain natural side conditions.
