On the background of recent research on Isa 55,1–5 in the context of the book of Isaiah this article makes observations relating to the literary affinities (allusions) of these verses mainly to deutero-isaianic texts (perhaps also to Isa 11,12), but also to Isa 60. The conclusion is that Isa 55,1–5 is a text which consciously unites elements of traditions, we now find in deutero-isaianic and 〉trito-isaianic〈 portions of the book.
