Workpiece Influence in Coordinate Metrology

This paper surveys the effects of the workpiece on tactile coordinate measurements. It describes their sources and makes proposals how to consider them in the planning, execution and evaluation of coordinate measurements as well as in the determination of the measurement uncertainty.
