Weathering Tests of Coatings Including Acid Rain Effects

Examinations were carried out using samples of various modern automotive coatings which were subjected to outdoor tests in Jacksonville, Florida, and to several variants of the "Acid Dew and Fog test" in the laboratory. One laboratory test was found whose results correlate very well with the outdoor exposure in Jacksonville. This proves that the action of the Jacksonville climate can successfully be simulated in laboratory.
