The humidity of air or gases in general can be described in different ways, which each have advantages in specific applications. The descriptions are equivalent and the various quantities can be converted from each other, air temperature mostly being a significant parameter. The uncertainty contributions in calibration and practical application is discussed for the most important quantities — dew point temperature and relative humidity.
