Tomographic Imaging of Flow Profiles with Few Information

The interest in tomographical methods has grown during in the last years. In flow measurement the knowledge of the velocity profile allows the calculation of the distribution of the velocity in the pipe cross-section. An improved accuracy of the flow in quality of streaming profiles is based on an ultrasonic cross-correlation method instead of the conventionally used transit-time principle.
