Sustainable Further Socio-economic Evolution of the Globalized Society

Keywords: techno/economic momentum, ecological momentum, automation degree

Basing on the consideration of the advancing techno/economic development the origins of this momentum are pointed out. Also the intermeshed couplings to the other momenta – the increasing consumption of resources and the environmental pollution as well as the population´s development – are regarded.

The consisting interdisciplinary relations are explained by means of analytical considerations, statistical time series as well as by corresponding simulation studies. Therein the repercussion of automation on the society proves to be of special importance.

Building up on these facts required countermeasures concerning a sustainable further evolution of the globalized society are derived. Within essential points, these measures do agree to the targets of the Global Marshallplan Initiative.
