Standard for Calibration of Instruments of Hardness Testing

A system of silicon springs with an integrated stop is described. It represents a material measure of force and length and is designed as a standard for calibration of instruments of hardness testing. The nominal values of the spring deflection at the stop and the force necessary are 25μm and 425mN, respectively. The characteristic is exactly linear. The tolerance of the position of loading has a diameter of 0.5 mm.
