Organic Field Effect Transistors as Biosensors

In this contribution we describe the investigation of new types of sensors in medical diagnosis. These sensors are completely organic and are based on the principle of organic field effect transistors. As model system for application in medical diagnosis we test the usability of this sensors for the diagnosis of helicobacter pylori.
