Monitoring of Temperature-critical Transports through Mobile Vehicle-communication

This article introduces the upgrading of a communication system used in freight forwarding business with a module for the monitoring of temperature-critical transports. At first, the requirements for monitoring this type of transport are being developed. Afterwards the communication system wapLog is introduced, which is subject to the integration of the monitoring-module. The article concludes with the requirements of the underlaying technical architecture which has been derived from the demands of the temperature-critical goods as well as mobile vehicle communication.
