Modelling, Simulation and Production Planning of Pipeless Plants

In the production of life-science products, a flexible, cost efficient and timely production of small amounts of material increasingly becomes a key factor for economic success. Pipeless Plants are a more flexible alternative in comparison to standard multiproduct batch plants, where the planning and the operation can be efficiently supported by simulation- or optimisation-based software tools. PPSiM is a graphical software environment designed for the specific demands of Pipeless Plants to support the design as well as the operation.
