Measurement Uncertainty for Measurements with Calibrated Dimensional Measuring Equipment

The evaluation of the measuring uncertainty is presented for measurements with dimensional measuring and test equipment following the rules of the GUM based on the example of testing the excentricity of an excentric shaft by a dial indicator . Special emphasis is put on the question how to include the knowledge of conformity statements typically used in routine measurements into the uncertainty analysis.
