Investigations into the Repeatability of Turbine Flow Meters for Liquids

By means of the hydrodynamic test field the repeatability of turbine flow meters and, for the first time, the repeatability of the test field were investigated for three different flow rates and pipe diameters. It turned out that the uncertainty values of the measuring instruments investigated and of the test field are of the same order of magnitude. This is a prerequisite for quantification of the measurement deviation of these devices.
