Innovative Damper Concepts for Modern High-performance Locomotives

The axle load of modern locomotives reaches more and more its limit. This causes restrictions during homologation and in service. Hence Siemens Transportation Systems developed two new damper concepts: the active jaw damper to support the homologation process and the frequency controlled vertical damper to reduce in service restrictions.
