Fiber-Optical Confocal Microendoscopy for in-vivo Diagnostics

It is one of the most important aims of the modern medicine to conduct diagnosis and therapy less stressfully for the patient. Therefore microelectronic and microoptical technologies are increasingly used. A novel measuring system is developed in a current research project. It is based on the concept of a miniaturised fiberoptical confocal microscope.
