The equipment of a low-speed test rig for simulating the effectiveness of shroud sealing geometries in axial turbines using the Reynolds analogy is described for the blading sequence of vane row, rotor row and vane row. The data for the flow field investigation are acquired by a 5-hole traversing probe and aerofoil pressure taps of which the data from the rotating equipment is transmitted by an inductive telemetry system.
