This paper focuses on the diagnosis of processes that are modelled by timed discrete event systems. Two different approaches to this problem are presented. The first method is based on parameter estimation of a timed event graph whereas the second method uses the principle of consistency-based diagnosis of timed automata. Both methods detect and isolate faults by using the event sequence and the measured event times.
