Cross-Correlative Ultrasonic Flow Measurement

Since 1995 the Institute of Measurement and Control of the University of Essen conducted numerous research activities to measure pipe flow velocities by means of cross-correlation of ultrasonic signals. The paper summarizes the main results of these investigations.
