Automated Development of Nonlinear Model Predictive Control for Diesel Engines

A model based predictive control based on successively linearised models is presented. For rapid control prototyping an integrated development environment has been developed. The presented approach is highly flexible and scalable and can be used particularly for control of diesel engines in highly integrated systems.
