ARMin – Robot for Movement Therapy of the Upper Extremities

Task-oriented repetitive movements can improve movement rehabilitation in patients with incomplete spinal cord injury, hemiplegia or orthopaedic lesions. This article presents the technology of the new therapy robot ARMin. ARMin enhances the therapy of functional movements and activities of daily living of the upper extremities.
