Application of Dynamic Forces in Materials Testing

Various dynamic test methods are applied in materials testing for the characterization of material properties under dynamic strain. Beyond static test methods also dynamic test methods are increasingly used. The dynamic hardness measurement and the dynamic grinding wheel testing are presented in this contribution as typical application examples for dynamic forces in materials testing.
