This article deals with the development of a contactless torque measuring system with a carrier frequency amplifier. The optimization of the temperature effect on the measurement signal by high symmetry of the measurement bridge is complemented by digital compensation of remaining temperature effects. Through digital signal processing and transmission, the currently high accuracy of non-rotating torque transducers can also be achieved in the rotating shaft train. Different application examples are used to illustrate the benefits of applying this technology in practice.
