Visual Specification and Modeling Techniques

In this article, we first give an overview of popular diagrammatic representations for behavioral modeling in system design. We introduce them as they are defined in UML. Thereafter, we present the modeling example of a pulse modulation controller using the visual means of the speedCHART^TM design environment.
