Traceable Object-Oriented Software-Development in Practice: Process and Organization

After discussing the representation of the technical solution in an earlier publication, the process and management issues of object-oriented software development are covered. The main characteristics of the development process are stepwise implementation, involvement of the users and reduction of project risk. Some metrics for evaluating the product and the process are presented. Finally suitable roles, organizational structures and tools supporting effective team cooperation are proposed based on the experience of recent customer projects.
