Reconfigurable Hardware and Intelligent Run-time Systems for Adaptive Computing

This contribution motivates and describes the structure and application of dynamic reconfigurable hardware architectures within intelligent run-time adaptive systems. These technologies are compared to the relevant organic aspects of the genetic control of the development and function of biological cells.
