Quality and Quality Assurance of Reusable Circuit Descriptions

Quality is essential to successfully reusing circuit descriptions. This article presents requirements on the definition of a notion of quality and some resulting issues that are being dealt with in current R&D projects. Based on an overview of the most relevant quality criteria, we subsequently outline a tool-supported methodology for quality assurance.
