Pedagogical Views to Lecture Recordings (eLectures)

This paper examines the lecture recordings from a pedagogical point of view. For this purpose are introduced general results of research and development projects from the area Lecture recording. A subsequent definition is used as basis for the presentation of research results of the following learning arrangements: supplementary offer (blended learning, hybrid learning arrangements), distance learning and substitution of the teacher. It is discussed how far the video picture of the speaker influences on the learning process, or if only with the sound transmission is enough. A final short methodical didactical consideration analyses whether the lecture recording should be produced in a lecture or in a dialog form.
