Online Error Detection and Fast Recover Techniques for Dependable Embedded Processors

This thesis presents novel techniques for the online observation and concurrent check of microprocessors. Techniques are developed in order to detect errors within the same clock cycle. Furthermore, new methods for fast error compensation are introduced. Primary goal is an improved dependability of microprocessors — especially for safety-critical systems.
