Meia Oriented Systems Transport- Standard for Multimedia Networking in Vehicle Environment

All German car manufacturers decided to use the multimedia networking technology MOST in series products. The abstract points out the reasons for this decision. From a general point of view it describes the requirements of car industry concerning a multimedia network for vehicle environment. Then the most important technical features of MOST are presented and it is shown that many of them meet those requirements.
