Medical Robotics

In this paper the state of the art of surgical robotics systems and the latest research work at the Surgical Robotics Lab (SRL) at the Humboldt–University Berlin are described. The integration of robot systems into operation rooms aims to improve the manual accuracy of the surgeon and therefore to an improved treatment quality for the patients.
