Intuitive Human-Computer Interaction for a Networked Information World (INVITE) – Research Approaches and Results

INVITE is a cooperative research effort aiming at providing more intuitive interac-tion with complex information spaces. The developments in the project are based on three major interaction paradigms: dynamic visualization, multimodal interaction and cooperative exploration of information. New interaction techniques and tools explor-ing these concepts are developed and validated in realistic application scenarios. This paper reports on the objectives and research approaches of the project and pre-sents an overview of the results and developments achieved up to now.
