Internet Technology as a Universal Type of Middleware

In this paper Internet technology is examined as a universal type of middleware. This is suitable, because the available methods refer to each other and belong to a common class. If Internet technology is used for inter-company integration of information systems, it can offer further functions beyond those of regular middleware.
