Distributed Systems in Vehicles

The constantly growing number of autonomously working electronic systems in a vehicle and their interaction through networks requires an enhanced theory of distributed systems and it′s practical application in the development and the operation of vehicles. The high reliability and safety requirements of a vehicle, as well as the integration of different components of different manufacturers in a vehicle as a system, leads to new development tools and their global standardisation.
