Designing Usable E-Learning-Systems

Usability principles as the ISO 9241, part 10, require a humanistic idea of man. This idea of man combined with a corresponding didactics allow us to transfer the usability knowledge to our context of e-learning. Based on that transferred knowledge, we postulate three design principles for designing e-learning systems: media perspective, openness and simplicity.
