At the beginning of the year 2005 we can look back at ten years of mobile telephony as a mass phenomenon. At the same time there are still not enough mobile phones on the market that satisfy the user needs of senior citizens, a growing target group in the Western world. A new and highly simple product concept led to the development of a mobile phone consisting of hardware, software and a provider service. During the design project we carried out a survey of the target group that led to interesting results.
