Phosphates with amphoteric oxo-complexes: from structural features to genetic conclusions

Structural peculiarities of phosphate minerals are discussed in correlation with the conditions of their crystallisation or transformation in the earth crust. Close structural relations in the row: lipscombite – barbosalite – trolleite – tavorite, are analyzed in order to unterstand the nature of paragenetic associations between these minerals or their analogues (Fe-trolleite).
