Case studies of molecular disorder

In this review we present three representative examples of molecular disorder: substitution disorder for carbon nanotubes in zeolite, coupling between substitution disorder and displacements through the pinning of charge-density waves in one-dimensional molecular conductors, and the combination of random packing with orientational disorder in the C₆₀—C₆₀ dimers systems.
