The dielectric spectra of LiCl, LiClO4 and LiNO3 in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) have been measured from some MHz to 72 GHz at 20°C. For the lower salt concentration range (< 0.5 mol/l) the relaxational contribution to the spectrum (apart from the conductivity contribution) is described by two Debye terms, whereas for higher concentrations (up to 1 mol/l) one Debye plus one (higher frequency) Cole-Davidson (CD) term is used. The lower frequency relaxation is likely to be due to solvent shared ionic species. The higher frequency relaxation is ascribed to practically unaffected solvent.
